If you think traffic violations don’t affect your car insurance premium, think again. We all know how the insurances work, right? They’re their for “damage” reasons (getting hit by some other car, having a mishap and so on and so forth) and traffic violations aren’t supposed to be treated as something different. In fact, traffic violations are the precursors of most car accidents in the United States (and in all parts of the world). Whether you got a ticket for speeding, illegal parking, beating the red light and the like, expect that your car insurance premiums will have a much narrow coverage the next time you violate.
