Pet insurance: dogs gotta love it.

If you want to take your dog out for a ride, fear not. Progressive Corp. now covers your pets under their premiums’ umbrellas. If your pet gets into an accident, has been injured or dies, the company will cover $500.00 as the pet’s insurance (nothing will be added to your premium. So, basically, it’s for free! Or maybe, more of a perk). Although veterinarian costs are much higher than $500.00 (depending on the accident), some prominent people in the insurance industry applauded Progressive Corp. for their efforts in taking into consideration the welfare of animals.
This insurance coverage for pets does not promote reckless or irresponsible driving. You’re still obliged to drive safely.
